Shipping and Delivery

Can I find my Peridot products in stores?	We're working to have our products stocked with selected partners in Singapore. Coming soon!
What if my product arrives damaged?	We do our utmost to ensure that our packaging protects the contents within while minimising the amount of materials used. However, we cannot guarantee that your products will be handled carefully during transit. In the event that your product is damaged, please drop us an email at hello@goperidot.co with pictures of the damaged products and packaging upon receipt. We will make arrangements to resend your order.
What is Peridot's return policy?	Refer to our return policy page for more information.
What are Peridot's shipping charges?	Please head to the check-out page to confirm the shipping charges.
How are my orders shipped?	We work with 3PL to ship our orders to you.
How long will it take for my products to arrive?	Orders are packed and shipped within 3 working days after confirmation. You will receive another email to notify you that your order has been shipped. For domestic shipping in Singapore, please allow 2-5 working days for shipment. For international shipping, please allow 1-2 weeks for shipment. If you do not receive your order within the time frame above, please drop us an email at hello@goperidot.co.
How do I cancel my online order?	Please drop us an email at hello@goperidot.co and we'll attend to your request.
Do you ship internationally?	At the moment, we only support orders in Singapore and select international countries. We're working hard to expand alongside international partners and hopefully we'll expand to your country soon!

Payment

What currency are the prices displayed in?

The prices are currently displayed in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

What payment methods are accepted at checkout?

You may pay through Stripe for credit/debit cards, or through HitPay for PayNow payments.

If my browser froze in the midst of payment, how do I know if payment went through?

Please look for the order confirmation email in your inbox, which will indicate that payment is successful.

If you did not receive said email, please reach out to us at hello@goperidot.co and we will confirm whether payment has been made.

Packaging

How are Peridot's products packaged?

Our products are packaged in plastic bottles which are durable and can be reused for years. We urge you to purchase our refill packs if you have an existing bottle, or if you would like to top up any of our products.

Product

What makes Peridot's products different?	Peridot's core focus is on efficacy and sustainability. Through an innovation-driven slant towards chemistry, we create industry-grade without the environmental impact that usually accompany them. For example, we select raw materials with high RCI (renewable carbon index)/ non-petrochemical origin and low water content. We also frequently review the ecotoxicological data and environmental fate of our ingredients, so as to mitigate the impact on our planet. Most importantly, we focus on creating innovative formulations that reduce the amount of product and effort you'll require to clean.
Where are Peridot's products manufactured?	Our products are manufactured in Singapore in our own local facility.
Can I request for a custom order?	Yes you can! If you are a representative of a corporation, please go to our 'Corporate' page and send us a message there. Otherwise, please reach out to us at hello@goperidot.co and we'll be sure to respond to your request.
What is the best before date of my product?	Our products have a best before date of one year.
Are Peridot's products organic?	While our products are not certified organic, we strongly stand by our approach to formulation and ingredient selection. Our products contain a high percentage of natural ingredients, and we work our hardest to source these materials from ethical sources.
Is Peridot vegan and cruelty-free?	Our products do not contain any ingredients derived from animals and are not tested on animals. Some of our products do however, contain citric acid, which is derived from yeast fermentation. It is a fact that all ingredients (including water) have been tested on animals for toxicological and ecological effects in the past. However, we do not carry out any further animal testing as there is sufficient data available for extrapolation.
Are Peridot's product fragrances natural or synthetic?	Our product fragrances are synthetic, but have been tested to ensure that they do not pose a hazard to health or environment.
Are Peridot's products pet-safe?	Yes! Our products are non-toxic and non-corrosive, and are safe to use around pets.
Are Peridot's products safe to use while pregnant?	Yes! Our products are safe to use around pregnant mothers. Nevertheless, if you have queries, please check with a licensed medical professional.

Specific Ingredient Questions

Does Peridot contain ammonia?	No, our products are not formulated with ammonia. While ammonia evaporates quickly to leave a streak-free surface, it can irritate the eyes and respiratory tract, and therefore are not used in our products.
Does Peridot contain gluten?	No, our products do not contain gluten, the plant protein found in wheat and other grains. Our ingredients are mainly derived from other better quality plant-based oils.
Does Peridot contain parabens?	No, we do not use parabens in our products. Parabens are a class of preservatives widely used in personal care. While they have not been proven to be harmful to human health (at the levels commonly used by the average person), we make sure to take a precautionary approach by using a naturally-derived alternative as our preservative.
Does Peridot contain triclosan?	No, we do not use triclosan in our products. Studies have shown that triclosan can cause bacteria to become resistant to antibiotics, which may lead to adverse health effects in humans, and therefore are not used in our products.
Does Peridot contain sodium lauryl suphate (SLS)?	No, we do not use SLS in our products. SLS is an excellent foamer, which makes it a popular ingredient in mainstream products. However, we believe that foaming does not equate to cleaning. We formulate our cleaning products with efficacy as our primary focus, and have traded SLS out for ingredients that work more efficiently, such as methyl ester sulphonate.
Does Peridot contain phosphates?	No, we do not use phosphates in our products. Although phosphates improve cleaning performance, they cause adverse ecological and economical impact when washed into water bodies. Therefore, in place of phosphates, we use other ingredients that reduce such negative environmental impact, such as the naturally derived tetrasodium glutamate diacetate.
Does Peridot contain nuts or nut oils?	No, we do not include nuts or nut oils. However, the majority of our ingredients are derivatives of palm, coconut and other plant oils, which may cause an adverse skin reaction in specific individuals.
